So today I ran home from work again and stretched the route out a little to make it 10 miles. It wasn’t lightning quick but it was quicker than the 1st (and only) time I completed the 10 mile distance before. In fact considering the first couple of miles are all uphill and I completed the run carrying a few extra pounds on my back I’m very pleased with the performance. I’m also by no means dead on my feet which is a nice bonus (although this may be due to a the couple of pauses taken en-route *slaps wrist*). Still a very nice end to an otherwise dull week and a great way to celebrate both my 6 month running anniversary and also the start of a 3 day weekend.
Stubble above is double cause to celebrate as it means my beard will indeed grow back! PHEEWW.
